Ive had this 1750 for years in junk box. Now with this new info Hold down Function
key and F8 then power up the computer keep these keys down and tap F11. You will
then get an option to save changes F1. Worked. I was able to boot off XP pro and
install. Had all drivers installed and working but too slow. Only 128 ram. So formated
and installed XP Performance edition. Runs super. Had no drivers on this edition
so had trouble with drivers missing. Dont support xp on 1750. So reinstalled full
xp pro. Backed up drivers. Then formated and installed XP Performance edition. Now
have a great working laptop with everything working. Rogers stick internet. Kids
love it. Use it everyday. Thx for the info.
