winME Program file folders Monday, August 20, 2001 at 12:14 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Harry (5 messages posted) I am confused with two program folders: (1) Windows,StartMenu,Programs and (2) Programs . Item (1) has about 40 folders including one called Startup and various shortcut tabs. Item (2) has about 60 items. I don't understand the relationship between them. They don't seem to relate to the desktop. Are any or all these files loaded at startup and how do I know. I would like to be able to select a small number to load on start up. What is the penalty for not loading a program at start up?
