Question about 'How do I stop Internet Explorer from loading a

I have a question about How do I stop Internet Explorer from loading a "home page" when it starts?:

I am running IE5, and I have noticed that a lot of web sites actually set your "start/home" page to their web site, so that the next time you run IE it automatically goes to their web site. I find this particularly annoying and very rude of them to do this without at least asking first. My question is, can IE be set so that no-one can reset your "start/home' page?
