Question about 'Designate Your Own Drive Letters'

I have a question about Designate Your Own Drive Letters:

I am using Windows ME. I tried both solutions but without success. When I reboot the drive letters stay as they were before the change. I currently have partitions C, D and E and I want to change these to C, V and O respectively. What should I be typing in UserDriveLetterAssignment? What does 'desired drive letter' mean in this case? Any ideas why it isn't working?
