I have a similar problem with Internet Explorer 6 file type association? As an example... Mpeg movies (*.MPG) are normally opened with Windows media player in windows. But, opening the same MPG file in a web page will call for Quicktime!! Since I'm the webmaster of the test page (http://go.to/timelapse), I can garantee that there is no difference between the file on the web (read by Quicktime) and on my disk (read by media player). Long ago, you could manually select which application will run for every file type in IE. Not anymore? Any help would be great, Thanks!!
