I have a question about Turn
Off the Documents Menu:
Here is a TIP from ME to YOU. Thank you for the tip about turning of the document
menu and history simply by adding two lines in the registry. Very easy as it "annoyed"
me in that it recorded everything and not just working documents, but program files,
downloads, etc. AND nobody at MS was able to tell me how to make it differentiate
between these various items; Additionally I had asked if they could make it open
upwards so that My Images, etc. would stay in the same place but NO MATTER for ........
If you want to get at your documents from the Start Menu all you have to do is to
change the name "My Documents" to Documents and then simply add it to the start menu
as if it was a program.
To do this click start, parameters, task bar and start menu, advanced, add. When
the box opens, simply type C:\Documents and add this to the start menu! You can
then do the same for Images, Videos, Music, Graphics, etc.
Simple.
