I'm pretty new at this stuff so maybe someone can enlighten me. In my Downloads file I have the following files: liveupdt.grd, liveupdt.sig, autoupdt.trg and a compressed file with three liveupdt files in it. My system is the Windows Me with a whole bunch of stuff on it and the Norton Antivirus. Would this be updates for the Norton program? I do keep it enabled. Also, everything seems to be working fine, would it be worth while to download the Windows Updates? And is it necessary to give my life story and get Microsofts "passport" to get the updates of can I get them somewhere else?
