I think dropping to command shell, going to the directory, typing dir >lpt1(or lpt2
depends on your setup), Should work and is the easiest way to explain

I thought that if you plug your printer into a USB port, you're not using the lpt1
or lpt2 ports, because I tried this with both lpt1 and lpt2 and neither of them worked
(They both froze up the computer). I checked all the steps in the how to, and everything
is right, so if anyone can help me it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could try checking the printer's properties. Right-click the USB printer & select
properties, then the port tab. In the port list there should be a port with a check
mark (with your printer's name in the printer column). Note the full port name &
change LPT1 to it in the batch file. I had to do this to get the batch file to print
to a print server over a network (e.g. in my case I had to change LPT1 to LPTN:PSF815P1).
