MY NETWORK PLACES icon Thanks for this advice which, with some adaptation, worked OK. I'm using WinMe, but a poledit folder does not appear in the CD-ROM provided with my computer. However, I was successful using a Win95 CD-ROM where I detected the folder via the following path: \admin\apptools\poledit\poledit. Thereafter I could follow the "Annoyances.org" recommended routine of Select Open Registry etc.
