Question about 'Share an Internet Connection'

I have a question about Share
an Internet Connection:
I have a ME machine and a 98SE machine, networked with a crossover cable (no hub).
The 98 machine has an internal modem to dial-up my ISP. Am I able to share this connection
with the ME machine? If so, how would I go about setting it up? Will I be able to
dial-up from the 98 box from a shortcut on the ME machine? Thanks!

Yes Tracey you can. One way of doing this is by creating an internet connection sharing
floppy in winme. Do this by performing the following:
left click on my network places.
choose home networking wizard.
open wizard
select create a floppy. click next and follow instructions.
put floppy in win98 machine
navigate to .exe on floppy to run the wizard again.
follow instructions but do not create floppy.
when you are finished, you should be setup.
I ran into problems with this when running two me machines so here is an alternative.
find netcruiser proxy on the web and download it.
It is trialware and I have found it very easy to use.
