i work for dell in phone tech support i have run across alot of issues about drivers for winME but yet again i have installed winME on my wifes compaq with no problems at all if at all possible i suggest flashing the bios for this issue this seem's to resolve the problem at times with device's and drivers i know there is alot of problems comming out as far as driver's and windows XP especially with burning cd's what type of system do you have let me know i could possibly help you

Hello Thomas, How are you?I have a compaq presario 5bw250 5000 series, just recently my pc does not recognize it has a cd-rw drive in it. What should i do?Im so lost at this,please help! Thanks
