I am trying to connect a remote web trackball, made by Interact products. it came with a 3.5 floppy, with instructions for win/95 and win /3.1. When I try to install it I get a message saying this is not a win/32 application. how can I solve this problem.

This message usually means that the file you are trying to run has the extension
*.exe but contains no entry point for the code to be run. This can often be due to
the file being corrupted.

Check the manufacturer's web site to see if you can find ME specific drivers.
