Safe Mode Start Up ONLY

If any one knows how to GET OUT of safe mode start up. I have tried everything in
the help support. I can't reinstall windows(the cd rom is not present)..I tried to
install windows 98 but CD-Rom is not present..I have tried everything..I can't use
the restore. Also I have tried to boot from the start up disk, it only boots in safe
mode..I have gone to mscong, change the start from normal to selective, change from
CD to A drive boot...NOTHING is working. If anyone has any suggestions, I will glady
try. This is my daughter's computer and she is driving me crazy(I will not let her
on mines..smile)..Thanks!

Safe mode then, start ,run c:\windows\options\cabs\setup and hope its there as a
backup . The other thing is remove the cdrom in device mgr since it complains about
the cdrom.

Thanks Jerry, I will try and see if this will help and also remove the cdrom from
device mgr. Hopefully there IS a backup.
