I have a question about What to do about error messages during Windows startup:

On startup, I get the following 2 messages: A required .DLL file, TSAD.DLL, was not found, and, A required .DLL file, D32-FW.DLL, was not found What do I do about these?

(If the said dll files ARE on your computer ... )I would try to find out which applications use the said dll files. (Search for files or folders created or modified on the same date as the said files) Uninstall then re-install the application.

The file TSAD.dll is used by a company called Time Sink, basically ad spyware. The file is missing from something you downloaded from the internet probably with the spyware buried in it. Somehow the file became deleted.

D32-FW.dll is used for broadband connection for Windows 2000 and XP or Yahoo messenger.
Missing/error with D32-FW.dll at Windows XP BOOT seems to be caused due to corrupt/incompatible
drivers. Please refer to the following links for more info:

www.geocities.com/kingsnake19781/2

www.askcody.com/support/faq/p1t22q191.asp

thinstall.com/docs/index.php?sp=file_spying.html

Hope the above info helps.
Good luck.

Hi... Uninstall the messenger using the Add/Remove Programs in the control panel first and then install again. Existing install program can also be used instead of downloading the whole thing agin from the site!!Worked for me..so hope it does for u too:) ;-) :) :)

download the file from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/index.shtml Unzip it and put it in your system or system32 folder. Let me know if that helps :-)

You tell the source of the problem, but not how to fix it. One of the other reviewers stated that by recovering the tsad.dll file, the problem went away. Do you know where to get that file? I probably similarly eliminated it with spybot, but I also removed it entirely, so I cannot recover it without finding it somewhere on the internet. It is apparently needed for pkzip as well as for some adware. So How Do We Get IT???
