I have a question about Troubleshooting
Driver Problems:
I am trying to install a digital camera I have installed the software for it and
when I come to install the driver the add new hardware wizard stops responding at
the point where it searches for the windows driver. It finds the driver from the
disc that came with the camera I click on it and click next and thats when the windows
driver folder appears and it stops responding. I've tried re installing windows me
and ive gone through the device manager and it shows the device to be there but with
a yellow exclamation mark on it ,Ive clicked on properties and update driver and
I just get back to the wizard and my origonal problem....please help

So plug the camera in, re-boot and allow the plug and play to pick up on your camera.
That is all that I can think of, if the driver is already shown in the driver management
window. Once the driver is in, PlugNplay needs to know it is actually there. Ian.

In these types of situations it is almost always necessary to go to the manufacturer's
website and look for troubleshooting information. Most likely, the driver you are
trying to install is outdated or written for a different OS.
