I have a question about Replace the Ugly Startup and Shutdown Screens:

I changed my logos and then deleted them but forgot to backup the origionals, Now my Wait Logo will not show and all that is displayed is _ in the top left hand corner of a blank screen. Even if i use a program to try and change it it wont display? Can anyone tell me how to get it back

I can email you my files when I get home if you'd like and you should be able to replace them, as I have not edited mine. The instructions on the link you provided seem easy enough to follow to reverse the problem. Now, let me see if I understand you, based on the link you provided. You changed the file attribute of the 2 files mentioned from .sys to .bmp, made changes to them, resized them, saved them, renamed them from .bmp to .sys and copied them back into your windows directory without backing up your original files and now you get nothing to display?

Thanx but i dont no if this will work as replacing the logow.sys file with other files doesn't seem to work on my pc. Could u please also send me the locations of where u keep the .sys files. I dont want to give my email address out so i dont know how u will contact me?
