Al,

You need to get another MSVCRT.DLL.....download it from here.....>http://www.1reviews.com/dll/dsound.shtml
to your C:\Drive......get into DOS and register it to Windows System as MSVCRT.OLD......and
ME will leave your dll alone in future....

I'm getting this a lot with Mozilla on Windows 98. This is the MS Visual C++ Run Time library and a lot of 3rd party programs include old versions of it. Old versions have a heap problem that causes a page fault. Here's the Microsoft link for uploading corrected libraries: http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/downloads/contents/WURecommended/S_WUFeatured/Libraries/Default.asp Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice, however, once I donwload from MS, nothing changes in this problem. When you run SPEU.exe, where does it put the .DLLs? Is there a way to rename the existing one? Still puzzled.
