Has anyone found a solution to this problem for ME? I hate having the title bar

Hi Puter.
You could try this -
Make the Start Menu bar Auto Hide so it only pops up when you move your mouse over
it or press the Windows icon key on your keyboard (if it has one).
Start
Settings
Taskbar and Start Menu
check mark - Auto Hide
In order for the mouse to activate the hidden Start Menu Bar - make your open windows
shorter at the top.
Move the mouse over the edge of an open window until you see an up and down arrow.
Left click, hold, and drag the window size down about 1/ 8 or 1/4 inch.
Then click and hold somewhere on the open window menu bar and drag the open window
down towards the bottom of your screen but where you can still see the entire window.
Now when you want your Start Menu Bar, just put the mouse at the top of your screen
and the Start Menu Bar will pop into view.
OR -
Without shortening your open Windows, if you have a Windows keyboard, you will see
a Windows icon key (2nd key bottom row on the left). Press that key and the hidden
Start Menu Bar will pop into view.
This works no matter what side of the screen you place your Start Menu Bar.
Take care,
Linda

Thank you Linda, a very through explanation. The trouble is I would like to keep
the start bar open, as I often have very many programs open at a time, and it saves
steps moving back and forth. I sure wish Window would fix this bug.
Your method is most helpful though and I am sure others will find is very useful.

Hi Puter.
If you want to rotate through your open applications -
Hold down the - Alt key - and press the - Tab key - A menu pops up that shows icons
of all your open programs.
Each time you hit the Tab key, the next open program is highlighted. When you see
the program you want full screen, let go of the Tab and Alt keys.
You can then bounce back and forth between open programs without even needing the
Start Menu bar.
Take care,
Linda
