Question about 'Share an Internet Connection'

I have a question about Share an Internet Connection:

I have 2 ME computers networked with a crossover cable. Everything is working fine except for internet sharing. As best I can tell, I've configured everything correctly using the wizards. I have read in another post that someone had a similar problem on an ME to ME network. Has anyone come up with a solution (other than trying winproxy, which I am doing now)?

Are you using a dsl or cable internet connection? If so, buy a cheap switch. You can find them on sale for < $50. Otherwise, you're probably stuck with ICS or something similar, which you'll have to troubleshoot. Try http://www.practicallynetworked.com/ for some tips. Dave
