STIMON won't go away

I am trying to disable/uninstall/keep from running in the backgroud Stimon.exe.
I have deleted its
startup key from the registry. Now it doesn't load at startup but within 30-60 minutes
I find it running again. I tried changing its name, and tried to delete it but something
puts it right back in
Windows/System in 10-15 seconds of deletion.
It is time for help!

There is a fix for this STIMON.EXE problem on the 'net at: www.smatters.com/stimon/stimon_fix.html
If you just put stimon.exe in the Google search window you will find a list of other
problems too.

Hi,
Go to
http://www.webattack.com/freeware/system/fwstartup.shtml and download one of the
free progs to control what starts up. I use Start Up Delayer. Run the prog and and
themn disable Stimon from starting. Keep in mind that this file controls you scanner
and will be needed if you want to use your scanner camera etc.
You can make a short cut on the desktop for Stimon.exe and run it only when you need
it
cheers
