Question about 'Share an Internet Connection'

I have a question about Share
an Internet Connection:
I've just finished a nightmare installation of a home network (2 ME machines with
crossover). The only way I could get it networked was my setting static IP addresses
on the 2 computers.
Then came the internet sharing. MS home networking would not configure internet
sharing (USB broadband connection).
So, I've had to use Winproxy...which I'll have to purchase after the initial trial.
Highly annoying.
Do these problems sound familiar to anyone and has anyone found a way to get ICS
working in that situation?

Hello My friends,
I found a website about sharing internet connections
which is very detalied on how it can be done.
i'm sending this message from my CLIENT computer
which has TCP/IP Removed before installing(CLIENT) ICSCLSETUP.EXE
The HOST has to be connected to the internet FIRST
Your network has to be functioning before installing your Client
software which comes from your computer when you enable
internet connection sharing ( run the internet connection wizzard it will make a
floppy disk to use on all the CLIENTs.)
