Question about 'How do I install, remove, or re-install one of the components that came with Windows?'

How do I Install, remove, and/or re-install one of the components like; one single
programmme, or one particular 'DLL' file, that came with Windows Me. 'Windows Me'
as a whole is only listed in the 'Add/Remove Programs'. Components / Programs contained
in 'Me'; like 'Windows Media Player', 'Internet Explorer' etc are individually or
separately not listed there.

If you haven't upgraded to a newer version of IE,it probably won't show up there. You
can use IE Eradicator to remove it,but I would advise against it.As far as other
Windows components, look on the Windows Setup tab under Add-Remove Programs.
They will not be completely removed, just "de-activated".

For Windows components go to Control Panel then Add Remove Programs then Windows
Set Up tab. If what you want isn't there you may be able to find the dll in the
.cab files(Windows/Options/Install), or if its media player or IE you can download
a new one and "upgrade".

Download regcleaner from jv16.org. It shows all the programmes installed and you
can use it to uninstall unwanted ones.
