Question about 'Dealing with Bad Memory (RAM)'

I have a question about Dealing with Bad Memory (RAM):

Another problem with your memory sticks, especially if you upgraded them yourself is incompatible SIMMs. If the memory on any stick is built with a different density than other sticks then you will get a poor memory wave with truncated peaks. Data will be lost from these missing peaks. Windows will become unstable over time and may complain severely. Windows self repair system may not keep up with the resulting errors. Read the memory density recorded on your memory sticks. ( Usually on a white label) Better still upgrade by going for single SIMMs upgrades like 256 mb or 512 mb in all one stick. I also tested my memory with free software downloaded from www.simmtester.com . This will identify where your problems are.
