ME does not have/use the Messenger Service.Your pop-ups must be surfing related,in
which case you'd need a pop-up stopper,like "Pop-up stopper", or a browser with a
built-in pop-up stopper sucha s Mozilla or CrazyBrowser...

If you go online you can download the "Popup Eliminator" I downloaded the 30 day
free trial and it works great! It blocks every ad and counts how many it blocks.
Also you can set your homepage to be yahoo or another site that doesn't have many
popups will help.

In the article relating to windows 2000 & XP, it says to open the services window
(services.msc). How do I do that, in Windows XP. I cannot find Services anywhere.

to access services.msc all you do is go to your start button, and then to Run and
type in services.msc

In windows XP, click on start button, then search. Type in "services.msc" into the
search. Double click on the files to get the dialouge box mentioned in the annoyances
article.
