I have the same problem and I already replaced the keyboard with a new one and it still does the same. When you press some or most of the keys on the right side of the keyboard the digit or letters that come up are not the ones I typed in. I can get an external keyboard to work fine but I don't know how to fix this problem. Mine is a Dell Latitude CPx 500 laptop

My Dell Inspiron 3800 laptop keyboard has gone bad. I lost use of the "delete" key,
"arrow-down" and F11. It sounds similar to your complaint. Were you able to get the
keyboard working. I read somewhere about getting good results by disconnecting and
reconnecting the wires to the keyboard.

If you have learned of anything that works, please let me know.

It seems that "flexing" the corners of the laptop corrects the problem. Right now
it has been working properly for days. Eventually I will need to disconnect and recfonnect
the keyboard. When I do that I will also look for some way to clean the contacts.

gOOD LUCK!

I have the EXACT same problem. Eventually the keys start working again but I don't know what I did to fix it. Very annoying.
