Memory full, spyboot ineffective

System memory goes soon under 10% and computer operation stops without reacting to any commands, sometimes ctrl+alt+del allows closing programs one by one. Occasionally messages: VMM(01)+000BDCO with error msg OE:0028:COOOCDCO. Also messages about PCCIOMON.EXE and SYNTPENH. I have tried SpyBot, which removed at least some cookies, but still crashes. Lately I have installed Bluetooth program from Socket and Nero prg for CD-burner. Thank you for your help, Hans

It has nothing to do with memory. What you're referring to is system resources. If
you have Kazaa installed, expect problems.

Remove unnecessary applications from your startup. You'll need to run a Google search
on these two to find out what they're related to: PCCIOMON.EXE and SYNTPENH.

First, check in the options of the programs themselves. Right-click on the icons
in the tray area, open each, go through the options to turn off the "tray" or "run
at startup" feature.

For the others, go to Start - Run, type: msconfig. Under startup tab.... Leave checked:
Systray, Scan Registry, Load Power Profile (two), *StateMgr, and your firewall, if
you have one.

Note: Load Power Profile only if using power saving features. For info. on any other
processes that you have listed, check here to see whether they're needed in your
startup.

Carol has very good advice you may want to use selective startup to figure out what your problem is. To get to selective start up go through Start>Run>MSconfig and then dont mess with any option but click on startup. You want your explorer and your keyboard. But you can disable files such as kazaa and registry errors or any other useless programs. Also removing desktop icons will enhance your computer boot up speed dramatically. May reduce some errors.

Hello Hans, PCCIOMON.EXE refers to your anti-virus from Trend-Micro

SYNTPENH.EXE refers to your Synaptics touch pad. [Laptop?]

Are you using Norton Anti-Virus at the same time as PCCillin? And do you have Easy
CD Creator installed at the same time as Nero?

Installing more programs often results in stack overflows and a shortage of Sps in
system.ini which can give rise to the blue screen error message which you are receiving
about VXDs, so take a look at these two MS KB Articles:

ERROR MESSAGE: THERE ARE NO SPARE STACK PAGES Q149083

If you suspect the Bluetooth program see what happens when you un-install it.
