If your cabinet files are on the HDD all you need then is your ProductKey code and proceed to: C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\INSTALL\INSTALL.EXE Double-Click on INSTALL.EXE and the over-install will start. You will loose all non-standard settings but nothing else. [Unless it goes wrong!][Hence the preparation!] You will need to re-install DirectX, IE6 SP1, WMP9, and change the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSHTML.DLL file. It deletes several registry keys required by Windows ME Help and System Information programs. Problem documented by Micro$oft. And in this and other forums. Check his web site for a fix. When I used ToniArts it said something about taking 9 hours to process all of the files and was listing system files one after another, so I took it off the system pronto! Can you send me a copy of your .reg file please. That really IS a superb idea!
