Merci pour cet exécutable qui devrait être transmis aux "experts" de chez microsoft
et Symantec.
AU cun de ces 2 services n'a été capable de m'offir une solution pour éradiquer ce
IEDLL.EXE
Merci encore.

Think I need this file as I have the iedll problem, however it required that I open
it with something, made the mistake of trying to open it with registry and now it
just tries to put it in the registry and fails. How do I start again and how do I
get it to run rather than just read? Please help, much appreciated.

It has to be unzipped to a folder and then run it by double clicking on the file
in that folder:
You have inadvertently download and installed CoolWebSearch
(a browser hijacker). The best way to get rid of it is to download CW-SHREDDER,
unzip and run it. If you need a zip program, here's a free one that I use, CAM-UNZIP.
If you get an error about a missing file MSVBVM60.DLL, install this first: MS-Patch
. MrC

Thanks for your help - you're like computer crusaders!! I actually went to another
site which simply told me to delete iedll (after a search) from registy and hard
drive which seemed to work. Should I still run shredder or am I clear now?! Thanks
once again!!

To do a complete manual removal, follow the instruction here:
IEDLL.EXE.
But the easist way to get rid of everything is to run the 'shredder'. There's lots
of enteries in the registry to get rid of. MrC

I would like to thank you for this tool as I had IEDLL.EXE too ... Let me translate
for you the interesting remark of Raymond Pelle, a French user (as I am too) :
Thank you for this exe file that ought to be transmitted to Microsoft's and Symantec's
'experts'. Neither of these services were able to propose a solution to remove this
IEDLL.EXE. Thanks again.
I totally agree with this ... It seems such experts are too busy to fix our real
concerns ... Too bad for individuals! That's exactly the way such annoyances keep
going! Thanks again ...

Keep the link handy, the CoolWebSearchChronicles
(a browser hijacker) is a big problem today and causes many problems. Alway check
for updates before you run it.
CW-Shredder,
Thanks MrC
