My laptop -hp- used to have alot error (mspaint, internet, etc, alot out of dates), and i decided to get upgrades from microsoft.com (22 criticals updates), done that, then used ad-aware 6.0 from download.com (350 adwares deleted), and used add/remove program taking out microsoft money 2000.. at that point, restart computer, and came back up.. Internet DONT WORK ANYMORE, i dont know what happen, i didnt delete any internet stuff. At least this computer internet works, but laptop isn't. BOTH is on same router, and behind router. ipconfig /release and /renew doesnt seem to fix it. Anything i do wrong?

Hi Joe,

"ipconfig" is only used in Win 2000 or Win XP. In ME, use "winipcfg".
You could also consider giving HP tech support a call. HP changed their support policy last year and now supports all machines and operating systems regardless of whether your warranty is still valid or not.
