You can use a copy of your friends CD if you had the same Retail version. But
you need to get your ProductKey from your current system. Run
NotePad C:\Windows\SYSTEM.DAT
and use the find command to locate the keyword "ProductKey". It is the 25 character
key that follows. If it has the OEM header, then your system came with Windows ME
pre-installed and you will have to contact the system manufacture for a copy of the
rebuild CD.
