Where can I get a copy of MSbexp.exe? My system came without the full installation
disk so I cannot follow the instructions on Page 257 of Windows ME Annoyances.

If you want to reinstall Windows, go to C:\Windows\Options\Install. You'll find a
file in there called "Setup.exe". Run that.
However, I note your post is entitled "MSBackup". So do you want to perform a backup
rather than a reinstallation?

Thanks, Worm, but what I want is the Windows backup software, supposedly on the Windows
CD (which I don't have). The Annoyances book says to navigate to \addons\MSBackup
and double click on Msbexp.exe to install the function. Is there somewhere for me
to go to download Msbexp.exe?

No. And it is not the best backup as it is designed to backup most (but not all)
system files to diskettes, tape drives or disk files on another drive. It does not
support CD-R drives directly. But you can create backup files and then later copy
them to a CD-R. It is suitable for backing up specific folders. But there are better
utilities for doing that. But if you insist, you should be able to borrow someone's
Windows ME CD and copy the files off.
