I have a new AIM virus. It deletes the AIM profile and inserts this link:
"I can't believe I found (My S/N)'s Picture here
HAHAHA"
The link is to buddypicture.net
It is NOT the realphx virus
if anyone knows what it is, or what to do about it, please let me know!!
Thanks

hey, I got the virus too and I was thankful when I figured out how to get rid of
the damn thing. the only good thing about this one is it is really easy to get rid
of. all you have to do is press "Ctrl+Alt+Delete" and look for something that is
called "Av" and hit "endtask". after you have done that go to the startup button
and select "search for files and folders". search for a file called "av.exe". when
you find it delete the little program and you are done, no restarting or anything
needed but you will have to delete that message from your profile one last time.
that is all you have to do and you should be good to go.
I hope it works for you like it worked for me, goodluck and take care.
