Hi for some reason after booting up my screen resolution of 640 x 480 cannot be altered in any way, restore won't work either. My sound control is greyed out so i cannot do any changes as well. My colour also cannot be changed from 32bit or 256. Why??? Waiting for a reply asap Cheers Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,

Right click the My Computer icon and choose "Properties" from the menu.
Click the "Device Manager" tab and in the list of devices, click the "+" sign next to Display Adapter.
Click the description to highlight it, then click the "Remove" button. Confirm that you want to remove this device from your computer when you see the warning message.
Reboot and Windows will reinstall it for you.
When the machine boots back to the desktop, right click a blank part of the screen and choose "Properties" from the menu. Click the "Settings" tab and move the slider to the resolution you want. Click Apply/OK.
