Everytime i boot up my computer i get a message "c:\windows\iedll.exe has caused an error. iedll.exe will now close, if you continue to have problems reboot your computer." Now when i check the ok box, nothing seems to be wrong and i can use my sytems, but the message box appears everytime i startup my sytem. I ran norton antivirus and no viruses were found. People in the win 98 forum think its a trojan. I have an upto date Norton antivirus but it hasnt detected it .....?? anyone help ? Oz

Oz, You need to download cwshredder and run it. You have a hijacker, coolwebserch, this should get rid of it. Be sure to close all running programs except systray and explorer before running it by pressing ctrl, alt, delete similtaneously >click on them once to highlight>end task. Some programs may take three attempts to close. ---jabuck
