I have Windows ME. My system crashed, and now my Windows Media Player won't launch.
Short of reinstalling it, can anyone suggest a repair? (Also, I don't know what
version I have.) Thanks.

what i did was to click my add/remove and remove it, click my computer>program files>media
player>left click>yes>empty recycle bin>reboot, then redownloading its latest version
for ME, and its worked fine ever since, you could try that, hope it helps, good luck!

WMP is not listed under "add/remove programs"
