Hi, Recently I cannot access into 'internet options' from the toolbar menu which enables me to manually delete cookies, change my internet options, trash my temp files etc. I may have deleted something? during my spybot or adware 6 scans (I have no idea really what i am deleting) I cannot 'retrieve from the recovery tray from either of these systems. Message: This operation is cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this cptr, contact sys admin. Its my own cptr and I;m the only one on it. Help!

Try running SpyBot S&D and check the Immunize function. If it is enabled, disable Immunize, exit reboot and try to access Internet Options again. Immunize blocks all access to some parts of IE and your system to prevent these areas from being changed. As the system administrator, you need to be aware of the "protections" you have in place.
