I purchased a game which required me having a 3d graphics card which I have. The
game is running really slow so I downloaded the lastest version of directx to see
if this would fix it - it hasn't. I ran a progam aida32 and in the Problems & Suggestions
section it said
Problem Hardware Transform & Lighting is not supported. Modern 3D games may require
it.
How can I get my computer to support these

The processor requires a GPU (graphics processing unit) to offload the T&L calculations
in order to render the game correctly. This improves the performance by freeing up
the CPU. Aida is telling you that this function is not available on your system.
If the video adapter supports GPU than you need to obtain the correct most up to
date drivers and install them. Multiple issues are involved, CPU speed, amount of
RAM installed, the correct video adapter, the latest drivers, your current hardware
configuration,etc.

There are a number of models/versions. Some have been discontinued. You'll need to
do a little research on your own unit. Here is a link to some models: http://www.ati.com/products/faqs/rage128faq.html#4
My guess is that the 128 series is an older one and you may need to upgrade the adapter
(could be wrong).
