Does anyone know of a full version of a program that works like PC Bug Doctor? Both mine and my husband's computers have errors that neither ScanDisk or any other Dx program on our computers has identified. We don't want to pay for an unlock key just to fix the problems.

Tip: Run a free scan for common Windows errors ad

Karla;
Create a boot disk, if you don't have one.
Put the floppy disk into Drive A and restart the computer.
When the DOS screen comes up, select:
Start with CD Rom Support
Let it run thru its files.
When it stops at A:/
Type C:/ and hit enter
At the C:/ prompt..Type:
SCANDISK/ALL and hit enter
If it finds corrupted files and can fix them...choose FIX
Hopefully that will solve the problem.
If not you'll need to do a PARTIAL RECOVERY using your Windows ME INstallation CD
or RECOVERY CD.
Hope this helps!
