Desktop Icons Corrupted

My desktop icons have a folder icon transposed on top of the old icons. The icons
still work, but everyone of my icons have this yellow folder icon placed on top of
it. I have deleted the file "shelliconcache" and this was no help. I would appreciate
any suggestions or consideration anyone could give me concerning this matter.

I appreciate the response, but I tried it to no avail. I guess it wants to be extremely
aggravating. I am still looking for a resolution to this problem.

Tony, if you download a program call Tweak-UI, I believe there is an otpion on that
to repair corrupted icons. Do keep us updated.
