Everytime I start my computer I get the following error message:
Explorer has caused an error in WKBDT32I.DLL.
Explorer will now close
If you continue to experience problems,
Try restarting the computer.
Of course - restarting the computer does not resolve anything. I can drag the error
message box to the side and continue to work, but this is am emergency work around
at best.
Any ideas what is going on here and how to fix it?
Many thanks!

you may have a trojan running, first, Disable
System Restore, then open up internet options, delete cookies, click "delete
files" including all offline content, click settings, reduce amount of disk space
to 4 MB or less> click "view objects" delete any damaged or unknown>ok>click "clear
history and set days to 5 or less.
second, clear out temp folders (some temp files may still be in use until
next reboot) type in search box *.tmp and delete whatever it finds, empty recycle
bin
third, utilize online scans (all 3 to find what each other does not)...
HOUSECALL,
Panda
ActiveScan, and
Bit Defender
fourth, download, install, update and scan with...
Ad-Aware SE,
SpyBot-Search &
Destroy,. note: it may take a few scans and reboots to totally clean
your system, also configuring
Ad-Aware for a full scan and re-scanning with that and spybot in safe
mode might be in order.you may need use of HijackThis
1.98.2 and posting a log if nothing listed above worked.
log onto how
did I get infected in the first place to help prevent future infestations .
