having just a few programs running at start up will speed up your pc considrably, you have to be carefull what to enable and disable go to www.pcpitstop.com and run full test on your pc it will give you details of all faults it finds on your pc and how to fix them it also has auto fix features, when you have run the test (only takes a few min) it will tell you what was running and explain to why it was running and if you need it or not P.S you do need task monitor and powerprofile as they are needed by windows
