I know for sure, 100%, without a doubt that VMM32.VXD is not corrupt but has been placed on the Desktop. When I start the computer it says the file is missing from C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM and to enter the correct path. Do I need to enter the path to the desktop? Can anyone tell me what the path is? Any help would be great thanks.

http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winme/1097687680 Solution worked great. Copied the file from the desktop to the correct location in DOS.
