Anybody here sucessfully use an iPod while running WinME? If not, i'm upgrading to xp. I just wanted to see if it could be done first. More specifically, a 4th gen iPod with USB. Thanks, Nick

Hi Nick,
It looks like Windows Me is a candidate provided that you buy and install XPlay 2 for Windows.

XPlay for Windows

yeah i saw that, it looks pretty good, but on ebay you can get xp home upgrade for about the same price, so i guess i'll just bite the bullet and upgrade. Ive been looking for an excuse, anyways. Thanks anyway, Nick

instead of the upgrade, i would get a fresh or Clean XP Install. simply upgrading to XP will result in numerous problems, if you decide to go that route. depending on what it is you do on computers, ME is a great OS, alot less problems then XP, i have XP on three puters and ME on two and tend to lean toward ME alot, less worries :) good luck.
