I recently had my hard drive replaced and reformatted the computer, but my recycle
bin still has the same old items from before in there, how can this be?

maybe you should ask whoever replaced your hard drive...

that format and HDD change only took place on your Bill.There should not be anything
Old left on that Drive unless they put everything from your old Drive onto the new
one. W.

basically what they are saying, u got charged (if you took it to a shop) for shoddy
computer "specialists". always do the work yourself. if you dont know how...learn:)
theres millions of pages out there about it. this isnt the 80's^_^
