Windows ME Update KB832894 Security

I downloaded this Securtity Update for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1. It never
completely downloaded and has stopped the computer from opening any links. I can't
open e-cards. I can't open my address book or printable page. The message after I
tried to download was: can't update %2 to %1. Updates says that it has successfully
downloaded about five times and yet it still sends it to my computer. I tried to
click on Search This Forum, but it won't open for me because of this problem.

Try to manually download and install from here-----

Catharine, This is the best fix--have done it this way more than once. Check out

As for the update, I had that problem also..ended up un-installing IE, defragging
and re-installing IE--that fixed a lot of other problems I was having as well.
