Operating System: Windows ME
Running Operations: Zone Alarm, Norton AntiVirus
Hello,
I recently installed a program called DesktopX. I have used it before, but that was
some time back (and it worked ok), and so i recently installed it again just cause
i missed it. Install went ok, and when attempting to run the program the following
error messages appear...
C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX\DesktopX.exe
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
Error Starting Program
The DESKTOPX.EXE file is linked to a missing export KERNEL32.DLL:Module32NextW.

I get that message too, using DesktopX as well, wiht no end in sight....PLEASE TELL

You have to revert back to an earlier version of DesktopX. The newer version will
only support WindowsXP. I tried 2.3 and it worked fine, but with ME, you are limited
as to what features you can have. Because its all designed for WindowsXP in mind.
