I could find Full Install OEM Cd's for about 85 bucks, but they require a fresh
install I believe.

EMERGENCY BOOT DISK FREEWARE
DON'T DO IT! ME is a DOWNGRADE compared to '98se and runs FAR worse than '98se!
Better to go to 2000 or XP Home/Professional is your system is compatible.
I used ME for four years and it is GARBAGE. As soon as I put XP pro on the same machine
and added more RAM it transformed the computer into something which actually works
as it is supposed to. (Anywhere from 512Mb-4Gb, if your mainboard will take it.)
If you go to PC Pitstop there is a compatability test for XP.
XP has to be CLEAN installed which means partitioning and formatting to NTFS.
Check out these prices for a full copy of XP http://www.buysoftware.ws/pd_microsoft_windows.cfm
There should be upgrade copies out there somewhere. You STILL do a CLEAN install
and just use your old '98 CD as qualifying media. You don't install '98 and then
add XP. (Or 2000)
