VxD problems

My girlfriend is getting on my case because she can't play some of her games on pogo.com.
Some work fine, others pop up this message and then freezes up my computer:

An exception 0D has occurred at 0028:00000003 in VXD ---. This was called from 0028:C001D3B4
in VxD NDIS (01) + 00005B30

What can I do to repair my VxD's?

99% of the time there is nothing wrong with the VXD's involved in reporting an error. These errors are usually caused by other software, such as backlevel device drivers, ADware/Spyware programs, virus, worms and Trojans.

Games (free downloads) are a good way to get such Malware, along with downloading with P2P programs.

You need to do a thorough scan of the system for problems such as memory errors and then scans for all the different types of Malware. Just be aware that some of the free "eye candy" programs that people download may not run if you remove the ADware/Spyware that comes with the free programs.
