Hi folks, Im trying to find out the difference between windows me and 2000.....yeah guys i am a bit thick lol I was downloading things for 2000 onto my pc which ahs me and they seemed ok and someone told me that the os were more or less the same....are they? Thanks to any replies Helen

No, ME and 2000 are entirely different. Windows 95/98/ME are the Win9X OS's, so they're 
closely related. XP and 2K (2000) are NT systems. You can't install software meant 
only for NT systems on a 9x system.
