Every time I attempt to open a folder a diologue box appears stating Explorer has caused an error in SHPRRPRT. DLL Explorer will now close. I'm not able to open any of my folders!!! What should I do

That does not sound like a Windows ME problem at all.

It sounds like you have installed the "HotBar" browser tool. And it is causing problems as usual. Either get rid of it as it is considered ADware/Spyware or live with the problems it causes. You should be able to remove it through its entry in Add/Remove programs.

However, if you infected your system with Hotbar by installing some of the older P2P programs, you are most likely infected with a lot of other junk, which is conflicting and causing the errors.
